Hidden amongst the pine forest, with access to the facilities of this world-class resort, is the privately owned Villa La Bergerie.

The property sets an exceptional standard in contemporary villa accommodation. Vast living areas, including a grand double-height entrance and a triple-aspect drawing room, are elegantly furnished with a blend of antiques and more contemporary pieces. A wine cellar, cinema room and open-plan kitchen and living area are equipped with the latest touch-pad technology, with WiFi and a Sonos music system available. Six bedrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished, have private bathrooms, and views on to the surrounding grounds.

Outside, 1.4 hectares of landscaped gardens surround the property, including lawns, fruit trees and a kitchen garden. A covered dining terrace, pool house and outdoor living areas with sofas and day beds surround a 18m swimming pool, which can be heated.

The villa is a privately owned property on the Terre Blanche resort. The villa is not affiliated with the nearby Terre Blanche Gold Spa Resort in any way, other than its close proximity to its facilities. However, should villa guests wish to use the hotel facilities (such as spa, golf, restaurants or tennis), they can access these as any other member of the public, by paying for the use of the facilities at the resort.
