Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by our Red Savannah representative and chauffeured to Ololo Safari Lodge where your Kenya safari begins.

Ololo Lodge is located 45 minutes away from Nairobi’s airports and right on the edge of Nairobi National Park. Its secluded location makes for good game viewing and in particular excellent bird-watching. Back at the lodge you can relax in front of an open fire and enjoy the views across the park from their library.

Overnight: Ololo Safari Lodge

Day 2 – Nairobi – Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
This morning you will be collected from Ololo Lodge and transferred to Wilson for your scheduled flight to Lewa. On arrival you will be transferred to Lewa Wilderness situated in Lewa Downs at the foot of Mount Kenya.

Days 3-4 – Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
Your home for the next two days, this “home from home” privately owned lodge has nine exclusive rooms each tastefully decorated with antique and handmade furniture.

With its location in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy guests are surrounded by rich game viewing opportunities without the crowds. There is a very good chance of seeing all of the “Big Five” and Lewa is one of the only game parks where visitors are almost guaranteed to see the endangered black and white rhinos while on safari.

During your stay you may wish to enjoy game drives, bush walks, camel and horseback safaris. For the more adventurous, take to the skies in the Lodge’s own open cockpit biplane and journey over forests, herds of game, and through ravines that are otherwise virtually inaccessible.

Overnight: Lewa Wilderness

Day 5 – Lewa – Masai Mara
Your adventure will continue today with an internal flight to the Masai Mara Reserve and onward transfer to the mobile Serian Fly Camp in Nkorombo. You will be staying here for the next 3 nights.

Days 6-7 – Masai Mara
With its fabulous location on the Mara River, nestled among groves of wild olive and orange croton trees this mobile camp is perfect for serious campers looking for photographic, film-making or even cooking safaris in a landscape brimming with big cats, crocodiles and huge herds of plains game.

From choosing a timetable and menu that suits you to having a private guide and vehicle, or even the whole five-tent camp all to yourself, the aim at this camp is to savour a wholly authentic safari experience.
