If you were to try to capture the essence of The Maldives, you need venture no further than Naladhu.  Set on its own private island in the South Malé Atoll and with only 19 rooms, it is the epitome of sophisticated luxury.  Peace and privacy are assured as the island itself is strictly for guests only.  A wonderful array of activities is available on its sister islands of Anantara Dhigu and Veli, across the lagoon.

 

Day 1 - Arrive in Malé, where you will be met and escorted to Naladhu's awaiting speedboat, which will take you on the 30 minute journey to the island.  On arrival you will receive a very warm welcome and be introduced to your personal House Master who will show you to your room and be at your service for the rest of your holiday.

Days 2-8 - These days are yours to relax and enjoy the facilities of Naladhu, as well as those on the sister islands of Anantara Veli and Dhigu.  The facilities on Naladhu include a 24-hour gym with yoga lessons, a large swimming pool and the Living Room bar and restaurant.  The spa is based on Anantara Dhigu but treatments can be taken in your own room if preferred.  Dhigu is also home to the water sports and dive centre, plus a variety of restaurants spread over both Dhigu and Veli so there is a great variety of choice.

Day 9 - After a delicious last breakfast, your departing speedboat transfer will be arranged to connect with your international flight home.

WHERE TO STAY

With only 19 houses on the private island, your only decision is whether to choose a Beach House or an Ocean House.  The rooms are all identical in layout and design, the only difference being between an Ocean view or direct access to the beach and lagoon.

  • Dolphin Quest By Dhoni - Naladhu is lucky enough to have a large pod of spinner Dolphins living right on its doorstep.  Watch them playing in their natural environment from the comfort of one of the island's dhonis.
  • Full Day's Big Game Fishing - Naladhu's fishing dhonis will take you  in search of sailfish, wahoo, tuna, mahi mahi or giant trevally.  The boats are staffed with a local, experienced Captain and two crew members and equipped with one fighting chair and two outriggers for five different fishing lines. 
  • Rent a Biologist - Take the marine biologist as a private guide on your snorkelling, diving or dolphin trip to help you discover more of the ocean's secrets.
