Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

The Park Hyatt is one of only two resorts in the Maldives where you can plunge from your private terrace straight into the reef; and it has a mellow, grown-up atmosphere ideal for a romantic escape.

Park Hyatt is peaceful, relaxed and cool. Located on the North Huvadhoo atoll - one of the world's largest and deepest - it is a great spot for divers and snorkellers, and benefits from the pristine beauty that the Maldives is famous for. A fairly small resort with contemporary, private villas, Park Hyatt is best suited to eloping couples or older families looking to spend quality time together.

The Park Hyatt's 50 villas are set amidst the tropical foliage or over the crystal clear water. All have panoramic floor to ceiling windows for taking in the ocean views, and feature contemporary clean lines. Park Villas are nestled amongst the island vegetation, with private decks housing outdoor terrazzo bathtub and rain shower and direct access to the beach. Park Pool Villas offer the same comforts as the Park Villas, with the additional luxury of a plunge pool for cooling down; while Park Water Villas are over-water, offering 180 degree panoramic views and direct access to the water. The villas are equipped with all mod-cons: all have Nespresso coffee machine, home entertainment system, digital media hub, in-villa iPad, air conditioning, personal bar and cable/satellite TV channels.

Sophisticated barefoot luxury.

Families are very welcome at Park Hyatt but the calm, cool atmosphere suits couples and older families best. Park Hyatt offers cots and a babysitting service, but doesn't have structured kids' club facilities.

The team at Park Hyatt can organise anything from a small, intimate ceremony on the beach to a formal banquet for larger numbers. You will have a personal wedding planner to help with all your arrangements, and the team has good contacts with florists, caterers and photographers. Anyone booking their wedding at Park Hyatt also receives complimentary benefits such as 2-hour couple's massage, sunset dinner, and sunset yoga class. If you have been married in the UK, Park Hyatt is a lovely relaxing place to spend your honeymoon.

Insider Viewpoint

Park Hyatt is one of the few 5-star resorts to offer an all-inclusive package and is lovely for anyone looking to experience the tranquillity and calm of the Maldives without too many bells and whistles. The major benefit is being able to plunge into the sea and snorkel the stunning and active house reef from the overwater suites; and indeed diving, snorkelling and fishing are all excellent. In terms of atmosphere, there is a pervasive feeling of calm that makes this a particularly good choice for grown-ups or older families.

Clean, contemporary design on one of the world’s largest, deepest atolls.
