Banyan Tree Seychelles

Once the far-flung island sanctuary of Peter Sellers and George Harrison, Banyan Tree Seychelles is unsurprisingly a picturesque paradise with one of the world's most perfect beaches.

Day 1 - Arrival in the Seychelles
Arrive in Mahé and, after passing through customs, you will be met and transferred to Banyan Tree Seychelles on the main island's south-western corner.

Days 2-9 - Enjoy Banyan Tree Seychelles
The next six days are at your leisure to enjoy the resort.

On a site once owned by actor Peter Sellers and Beatles guitarist George Harrison, Banyan Tree Seychelles has been created combining contemporary style with colonial plantation décor reflecting the island's heritage. Seychellois architecture is defined by the high ceilings, airy verandas and louvered doors of the pool villas throughout the resort.

Emphasis is on rejuvenation through relaxation. Recline by the infinity pool or unwind with a range of activities, such as tennis, yoga or a catamaran cruise. Explore the Botanical & Spice Garden, take a discovery drive to the capital's Selwyn Clark Market or enjoy a day island-hopping.

Try out a new skill and become a Martini expert. The resort offers a 'three act' Martini cocktail mixology class to create the perfect Classic Dry, Creole and Malted Martinis.

Visit La Varangue Bar for the new 'Raw & Champagne' dining experience. The art of sushi making is demonstrated with sushi served alongside a wide range of champagne from Ruinat to Moet & Chandon. Uplifting R&B by a local group provides the backdrop to the plantation house and sea views.

Asian healing traditions are practiced at the spa, which sits sheltered under virgin jungle with the majestic granite mountains on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other. Choose from an exotic menu of treatments - try the Harmony Banyan  treatment, the highlight of which is a massage conducted by two therapists, or perhaps the Royal Banyan treatment, which features the Royal Thai Acupressure  massage to improve circulation and alleviate muscle tension. Treatments are generally 180 minutes, including 30 minutes refreshment and relaxation time.

There is a choice of dining venues or you may create your own: Saffron offers award-winning South-east Asian cuisine, Au Jardin d'Epice serves international cuisine in an informal ethnic setting overlooking Intendance Bay and La Varangue is a colonial style lounge bar serving light meals and cocktails. Chez Lamar is the new fine dining restaurant offering Creole gastronomy. If you prefer privacy, dine in your villa with a private chef to serve you, or enjoy Banyan Tree's 'Destination Dining' where you choose your venue on the island: Champagne on the Rocks, Moonlight Gazebo, Sea & Stars in the resort's Presidential Suite, Beach Picnic or Grill on the Sands.

Day 10 - Depart
This morning you will depart to Mahé for your flight home.
