Bush and Beach in Malawi

Day 1 - Arrive Johannesburg
Transfer to Blantyre by plane and then by road to Mkulumadzi in the Majete Wildlife Reserve. The Lodge, Accessible by foot bridge suspended over the Mkulumadzi River, comprises eight spacious chalets, each with private viewing decks offering dramatic views of the Mkulumadzi and the Shire rivers. The main lodge is an open-ended building maximising the beautiful river views, and taking full advantage of the cool shaded area created by the forested banks.

Overnight: Mkulumadzi.

Days 2 - 4 - Majete Wildlife Reserve 
Enjoy game viewing - the reserve has an abundance of wildlife including rare black rhino, elephant, nyala, sable and Lichtenstein's hartebeest.

Overnight: Mkulumadzi.

Day 5 - Lake Malawi 
Transfer by light aircraft to Pumulani, situated on the western side of Nankumba Peninsula on the southern end of Lake Malawi. Overlooking the lake and exclusively nestled within the Lake Malawi National Park, Pumulani has total seclusion and privacy. There are ten villas scattered amongst the boulders and trees on the hillside, each with a thatched roof, which has a cooling effect on them. Individual in style and shape, all have spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and seating areas. The front sliding doors open up onto the elevated deck offering optimal views and privacy. With both a private beach, and pool incorporated in the design this is the perfect place to relax.

Days 6 - 9 - Lake Malawi 
Explore the Lake Malawi National Park on land and water. There is a wide range of water sports on offer from scuba diving to sunset sails.

Overnight: Pumulani.

Day 10 - Depart 
Transfer by light aircraft to Lilongwe.  Depart on flight to Johannesburg.  Connect to your onward international flight home.
