Day 1 - Arrive Johannesburg - Windhoek
Connect with your onward flight to Windhoek and spend a night at The Olive, Windhoek's first boutique hotel, with sweeping mountain views. The Olive Exclusive is the first ultra-luxurious sanctuary of its kind in the capital and boasts chic comfort. This cool, contemporary and stylish hotel has seven suites, each individually decorated to resemble a different region in Namibia. Equipped with their own lounge area, fireplace and private dining room, the creature comforts of this hotel make it hard to leave.

Overnight: The Olive.

Day 2 - Windhoek - NamibRand Nature Reserve
Transfer to the NamibRand Nature Reserve by light aircraft. Here you will be met and transferred to Wolwedans Dunes Lodge. Situated at the top of a dune plateau, overlooking the dramatic desert surroundings, the panoramic views are breath-taking. Built from a combination of canvas blinds and wooden structures, the lodge reflects the ambience of a tented camp with the comforts of a more permanent structure. The nine spacious chalets each come equipped with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas leading out onto vast stretches of untouched sand.

The main lodge comprises of two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a fireplace, a tea deck, a library, the wine cellar and two dining rooms. The variety of recreational space in this lodge makes a visit both exciting and relaxing and your stay here will be incredibly comfortable.

Days 3 - 4 - NamibRand Nature Reserve 
Experience the desert habitat.  Explore the natural habitat by foot, car or air. Scenic flights to the Diamond Coast and Sossusvlei may be taken during the late afternoon.

Days 5 - 7 - Flying Safari 
A fascinating three days exploring the Skeleton Coast by air. Highlights include aerial views of the famous Edouard Bohlen shipwreck, the seal colony at Cape Cross, and the Ugab formations, a 'moonscape' of black ridges set against the white desert floor. 

Overnight: Various camps along the route.

Day 8 - Kunene River - Etosha National Park 
Take a morning boat trip on the Kunene River observing bird life and the occasional crocodile before transferring by aircraft to Mushara Outpost. This wood and canvas structured lodge is located a mere ten kilometres from the world famous Etosha National Park. Accommodating sixteen guests in tent-like structures on the banks of an ancient dry riverbed, Mushara Outpost has a light and comfortable feel to it. Each tent is built on a raised wooden deck approximately a metre and a half above ground offering spectacular views of the surrounding bush. The large glass windows allow for a decent flow of air during the nights and for the very warm afternoons, air conditioning is available.

Day 9 - Etosha National Park 
Enjoy stunning scenery and memorable game viewing in the Etosha National Park.

Day 10 - Okonjima 
Transfer to Okonjima in the Central Highlands, home to the AfriCat Foundation. The AfriCat Foundation is the world's largest cheetah and leopard rescue and release programme. Over 900 cats have been saved since 1993 and most have been released back into the wild.  It's the perfect place to get up close and personal with big cats. 

Overnight: Okonjima Bush Camp.

Day 11 - Okonjima
Enjoy a game drive to track cheetah and leopard.

Overnight: Okonjima Bush Camp. 

Day 12 - Depart 
Charter flight transfer to Windhoek and connect to your onward international flight home, via Johannesburg.

The only way to truly appreciate the majesty of the vast dunes of the Namib desert is from the air. Take a hot air balloon as the sun begins to peep over the horizon and drift silently over the landscape as the rainbow of oranges and yellows come alive in the morning light.
