Day 1 - Arrive South Luangwa National Park 
Arrive in Lusaka and transfer to Nkwali Camp. Your home for the next two nights is Robin's House. This Privately owned house lies just on the edge of Nkwali Camp and is ideal for families or honeymooners looking for a little added privacy. Set apart from the main camp, on the banks of the Luangwa River it is perfectly positioned for a prime viewing spot of the river and all the game that comes to drink from it. Accommodation consists of two luxury bedrooms (a double and a triple), each with its own bathroom, central sitting room and dining room. All the rooms have spectacular views and the house comes with a private kitchen and chef as well as a valet, ensuring that meals can be served when and where the guests like. This lodge is fantastic when traveling with children as you have complete privacy with all the safari activities on offer.

Days 2 - 4 - South Luangwa National Park  
Enjoy day and night game drives in this pristine wilderness, noted for leopard sightings. You may also take guided walks or river cruises or visit Kawaza Village.

Day 5 - South Luangwa National Park 
Transfer by road to Tafika Camp in the South Luangwa National Park. Set in the game management area, on the banks of the Luangwa River this rustic camp has been the home of John and Carol Coppinger since 1995 and you will be sure to receive a warm and relaxed welcome. Comprising of six spacious chalets, each one privately spread out from the rest beneath the shade of giant Leadwood trees. Constructed from large thatch and reed structures, that have to be re-built every year in April in order for the camp to be able to operate during the dry season. The interiors are fairly minimalistic in terms of the furniture and the en-suite facilities include rustic vanities and outdoor showers. This lodge is ideal for those looking for a truly authentic African bush experience where the guiding is exemplary and the game viewing is excellent.

Days 6 - 7 - South Luangwa National Park 
Enjoy further game viewing. The camp has excellent river views, with opportunity to see elephants crossing, hippos wallowing and kingfishers darting in and out. Alternatively for those looking for more unique ways to experience the bush activities include micro lighting, cycling trails and walking safaris.

Overnight: Tafika Camp.

Day 8 - South Luangwa - Livingstone 
Transfer by light aircraft to Livingstone. You will then be met and transferred by road to Tongabezi, on the banks of the Zambezi River. Located fifteen kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls, Tongabezi is cast in a stunning location. Accommodation comprises of five private houses putting the emphasis on exclusivity. To add to this each house comes with its own private concierge service offering the very best of Zambian hospitality in the form of the highly attentive service. In each of the houses the bedrooms and seating area are completely open to the river, creating a feeling of sleeping outdoors, covered only by a thatch roof. The king or twin beds are lavishly draped in mosquito netting and the bathrooms feature huge open-air sunken baths. Honeymooners may be interested in a romantic meal that can be served on the private balconies overlooking the river.

Alternatively the six River and Garden Cottages are not quite as open to the elements. They have king or twin bedded rooms and the en-suite bathrooms have Victorian baths placed by the large windows.

Overnight: Tongabezi.

Day 9 - Victoria Falls & Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park
Visit the impressive Victoria Falls, go canoeing and take sunset and sunrise cruises. Enjoy game drives in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park or go on a fishing trip.

Overnight: Tongabezi.

Day 10 - Livingstone - Kasaka 
Transfer to Livingstone Airport.  Transfer by light aircraft to Kasaka. Located just a kilometre or two outside the western end of the Lower Zambezi National park, Kasaka offers a memorable and authentic safari experience. With each chalet nestled amongst the local flora and the accommodation consisting of eight spacious and well-furnished tented rooms, this camp is one of the most family friendly camps in the Lower Zambezi area.

Overnight: Kasaka River Lodge.

Days 11 - 12 - Lower Zambezi National Park
Enjoy the Lodge, set in a natural bush environment, with beautiful gardens and a refreshing pool. Take game drives into the Lower Zambezi National Park.

Overnight: Kasaka River Lodge.

Day 13 - Depart 
Transfer by light aircraft to Lusaka.  Connect to your onward international flight home.

  • Take a helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls - For the ultimate ride, spend 15 minutes in a helicopter over the Victoria Falls and also upstream over the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, spotting game in the park below.
  • Get up close and personal with elephants - Take a bush trail walk with elephants for 30 minutes watching them play, socialize and swim. Your guides will be on hand to explain their behaviour.  Minimum age 10 years.
