The villa itself has a wealth of fabulous features, but the
starting point for any description of the property has to be its
location, a short walk up the hill into the crooked, cobblestone
streets of one of Italy's most famous hill top towns, Cortona,
which at 600m above sea level has sweeping views over vast swathes
of countryside in all directions, as far as Lake Trasimeno and
Mount Amiata in the Val d'Orcia. Such close access to Italian
village life comes with the opportunity to dine at a choice of many
delicious local restaurants and visit the treasure trove of
historical churches and other features that can be found in the
fabulous maze of streets. There's also the convenience of having a
variety of facilities close at hand from grocery store and pharmacy
to doctor's surgery and tennis court and most importantly for
children of all ages, some excellent gelaterias. There are even
beaches within 15 minutes around the edge of Lake Trasimeno.
The villa itself has wonderful outdoor features including its
swimming pool and heated Jacuzzi, alfresco dining area charcoal
grill and pizza oven. The gardens are dreamy and beautifully looked
after with white roses and lavender surrounded by cypress trees and
spectacular umbrella pines. The large travertine pool, heated
Jacuzzi pool, bocce pitch and table tennis under the pergola
provide hours of entertainment. Inside there's Wi-Fi throughout as
well as a large pool table and cinema room.
The very close by train station is the perfect way of making day
trips into Florence and Rome.

beautifully proportioned classic Tuscan house sitting in the midst
of landscaped gardens with a fabulous pool and heated jacuzzi just
a short walk from one of Italy's most fascinating and specatular

The gardens: At once beautful to behold
and lovely to relax in, but with a lovely pool and bocce to
entertain you deep into warm summer evenings and the opportunity
for a little family competition.
