Verbier
Chalets in Verbier are often used to
advertise luxury ski holidays in Switzerland, with open-air
Jacuzzis, basement swimming pools and even private climbing walls.
Yet you would never know it, for these lures are concealed behind
traditional walls, the dominant style of this old Swiss village
comprised of chocolate box clichés of pitched roofs, church spires
and shutters carved with lovehearts.
On the slopes, sport is everything, for this really is a
resort for skiers (despite the village clubs, spas and shopping).
No wonder, then that Verbier ski chalets are so often traded
between homeowners, friends-of-friends and a few choice
agents. At Red Savannah, we position ourselves on the inside
track. Because we too love the fact there are some four hundred
kilometres of piste in four different valleys, that the lift system
is state-of-the-art, and the powder for heli-skiing is second to
none. We love the fact that the mountain restaurants are simple and
the service speedy, because at the end of the day - a long, active
day - one great gastronomic extravaganza is all the more
appreciated.
