  2. Day 1 Singita Sasakwa Lodge

    Arrive at Singita Sasakwa airstrip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Sasakwa Lodge. After a delicious lunch, you will visit the stables where you will meet the guides and try on any equipment you need. Following the safety briefing, you will be allocated a horse for a short afternoon ride. This will ensure that you are comfortable with the selection of horse and tack. Return to the stables for sundowners.

  3. Day 2 Singita

    Today you will set out from Singita Sasakwa Lodge around 07h30 and ride across the wide open plains with a short stop along the way to stretch your legs and enjoy a packed snack. Arriving at Singita Explore Mobile Tented Camp you will have time for a shower before lunch and a welcome siesta. After tea there is the option of either a short afternoon ride or an evening game drive with sundowners. Returning to camp you will enjoy relaxing by the fire before dinner.

  4. Day 3 Singita

    This morning you will be woken with tea and coffee brought to your tent before setting off to explore the surrounding area. Along the way, you will be given the chance to stretch your legs and enjoy a snack before returning to camp in time for a well-earned lunch. Afternoon tea is on offer from 16h00, where you will then be given the option of another short evening ride or a game drive.

  5. Day 4 Singita Faru Faru Lodge

    After an early morning wake up call with tea and coffee brought to your tent, you will set off for Singita Faru Faru Lodge around 07h00. This morning's ride is a bit longer as there is a lot of ground to cover. Due to the longer morning ride there will be no riding in the afternoon to allow the horses to rest up and relax in the stables. Afternoon activities available will be spa treatments, game drives, use of the gym or just relaxing by the swimming pools and enjoying Faru Faru. In the evening, enjoy pre-dinner drinks and snacks around the fire.

  6. Day 5 Singita Faru Faru Lodge

    This morning you will depart Faru Faru Lodge at around 07h30 to explore the surrounding riverine area. If the water level is low you can criss cross the river and ride under the huge fig and acacia trees that stretch from each bank before returning to Faru Faru for lunch. The afternoon activities on offer will be horse riding, spa treatments, game drives or just relaxing by the swimming pools and enjoying afternoon tea at Faru Faru. Pre-dinner drinks and snacks will be served around the fire.

  7. Day 6 Singita

    After breakfast you will depart Singita Faru Faru Lodge and ride towards Singita Explore Mobile Tented Camp, with a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy a packed snack along the way. Arrive at the camp in time for a shower before lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying the short afternoon ride or evening game drive. Return to camp for a beautifully prepared dinner.

  8. Day 7 Singita

    This morning you will enjoy tea and coffee in the comfort of your tent. After breakfast you will set off to explore the hills, plains and valleys for around 5 hours, enjoying the opportunity to stretch your legs along the way. This afternoon, spend time on the shorter afternoon ride before returning to camp for evening drinks and dinner.

  9. Day 8 Zanzibar

    This morning you will depart direct from Singita Explore Mobile Tented Camp to Singita Sasakwa airstrip with a one hour game drive. From here you will then fly to Zanzibar via Arusha. On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met and transferred to Baraza Resort, Your home for the next 3 nights. Located in the southwest of Zanzibar, Baraza might be mistaken for a whitewashed sultan's palace. It is wonderfully grand and Arabic in style, alluding to the past but totally up to the minute on both comfort and design.   11. Day 11 Depart

    Today you will transfer by Island Express to Zanzibar Airport in time to catch your onward international flight home.
