  2. Day 1 Arrive South Luangwa National Park

    Start your Zambia safari at Luwi Camp, which will be your home for the next two nights. This rustic camp is situated deep in the heart of South Luangwa away from the main Luwi River yet under huge mahogany trees on the banks of a permanent lagoon. Renowned for its fantastic walking safaris, guests can enjoy tracking Lion and other big game on foot. Accommodation comprises 4 traditional huts made from natural materials. Each room comes equipped with twin beds that are draped in mosquito netting and all rooms have en-suite facilities. The style is that of a traditional African safari, using natural resources in keeping with an authentic bush experience.

  3. Day 2 South Luangwa

    Spend the day on foot tracking large animals with your guide or simply relax at the lodge and watch the abundance of wildlife that comes to drink from the adjacent lagoon.

  4. Day 3 Nsolo Camp

    Continue your Zambia safari at Nsolo Camp, set in the heart of the pristine South Luangwa National Park. Situated on a bend in the dry Luwi River Bed, often used as a road by roaming antelope and predators alike, Nsolo is ideally located for excellent game viewing. Accommodation comprises of four individually designed chalets, each built on raised wooden decking featuring their own private verandas and high thatched roofs. The rooms are all fully en-suite with twin or king beds, whilst the furniture includes dark wooden tables and woven chairs made out of native materials.

  5. Day 4 Nsolo

    Spend the day tracking lion on foot with your guide. This evening there is an optional sleep out. En-route to Kikali set up your bed roll and mossie net, light a camp fire and settle in for your night in the bush. This truly once in a lifetime experience will have you re-counting bush tales to friends and family back home for months.

  6. Day 5  Kakuli Camp

    This morning you will enjoy your gentle walking safari to Kakuli Camp. Named after Norman Carr, affectionately known as Kakuli - an old buffalo bull - and located at the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa Rivers, the lodge has spectacular views of the surrounding area. Accommodation comprises four traditional canvas safari tents, each equipped with an en-suite bathroom and private patio overlooking a river where hippo and crocodile rest. The spacious rooms come with twin or king beds draped in quality linen and the lodge also features a central structure made from canvas and thatch. Built on a wooden deck overlooking grassy floodplains that lead down to the two rivers, guests can enjoy the fabulous game viewing opportunities as animals come down to the river to drink.

  7. Day 6 - 7 Kakuli

    Spend the next two days enjoying a combination of river activities and day and night game drives. Known for its abundance of nocturnal predators, a night drive is a must.

  8. Day 8 Chinzombo Camp

    This camp is wildly luxurious in design and brings unrivalled levels of comfort, elegance and style to the Luangwa Valley. The main living areas are built to blend into the natural surroundings and the six spacious come equipped with huge bathrooms and luxurious spa amenities as well as their own plunge pool and sweeping deck.

  9. Day 9 Chinzombo Camp

    Spend the day enjoying a variety of different activities from day and night game drives to walking safaris.

  10. Day 10 Mfuwe - Lusaka

    Transfer to Mfuwe where you will catch your light aircraft flight to Lusaka. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the Southern Sun Hotel where you will spend the last night of your Zambian safari relaxing.

  11. Day 11 Depart

    Transfer to the airport in time to catch your international flight home.
