46-metres in length, Indonesian yacht charter Alila Purnama has three decks and has been built in the style of a phinisi, the traditional vessels used by the Bugis seafarers from south Sulawesi in Indonesia. Inside, stylish interiors are decorated in teak, rattan and locally sourced materials. Four air-conditioned suites have queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms; while the Master Suite has wraparound windows offering 180° views, a private balcony and sundeck, and a luxurious bathroom. Facilities on board include a library, lounge, bar, indoor dining area and plenty of space out on deck to sunbathe and read a book. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available but subject to satellite connectivity. Diving, yoga, kayaking, fishing, snorkelling, visiting local islands and pearl farms, picnic lunches and barbecue dinners on beaches are all part of the fun.   2. Day 1 Join Alila Purnama

    Fly from Bali or Jakarta to Sorong and board Alila Purnama. After an introduction from the Cruise Director the ship will set sail into the Dampier Strait. The itinerary will differ depending on your time of arrival, but could include time diving off rainforest-clad Kri Island or a leisurely cruise towards Gam Island before dinner out on deck against a backdrop of stunning views.

  3. Day 2 Gam Island

    When you wake up this morning you will be greeted by Gam Island, where you can spend the day enjoying fantastic diving and snorkelling or simply relaxing on board with a spa treatment before exploring the island. Alila Purnama will sail throughout the evening and night, crossing the Equator.

  4. Day 3 Wayag Island

    Wake up this morning in the Northern Hemisphere where the views will be just as beautiful as yesterday's. Wayag Island is an idyllic setting for relaxing on the white sands or enjoying a range of activities before a beach barbecue in the evening.

  5. Day 4 Waigeo Island

    Your day begins in Sel Pele Bay, Waigeo Island. As well as rich underwater life, the island is bursting with animal and birdlife. Take part in various activities, and join your guide for a fascinating visit to Atlas South Sea Pearl Farm for an insight into the pearl cultivation and harvesting process.

  6. Day 5 Jef Fam Island

    From the moment you wake up on Jef Fam this morning you can take your pick from diving, snorkelling, kayaking or hiking. After a delicious lunch, the crew will whisk you off on a tour of the island by speedboat - a high octane and fun way to explore the coastal pools, wild flowers and birdlife. Dinner will be another delicious affair enjoyed alfresco as the sun sets.

  7. Day 6 Mansuar Island

    The morning tide on Mansaur is the best time to see turtles and manta rays, so why not head out with your snorkel for a chance of coming face-to-face? In the afternoon, there will be a chance to head ashore with the crew to visit the local people before cocktails on the deck to herald yet another beautiful sunset as the boat begins its return journey to Sorong.

  8. Day 7 Depart

    After one last breakfast on board, the team will help you disembark in Sorong where you will be escorted to the airport for your onward flight.
