The interior of the villa is unashamedly modern, from the well-equipped kitchen to the open-plan living space opening airily onto the surrounding terraces. Decor and furnishings are eclectic: from pencil-sketched artwork and 1970's leather armchairs to African totems and a lipstick-red bedroom. However, despite the catholic art collection, the house is none-the-less comfortable and easy-going: sofas in the living areas look out casually over the surrounding grounds, while a separate TV room has movies, sports and video games.

The Gardens: are enclosed, with neatly-maintained lawns surrounding a sun-trap pool area, tennis court and outdoor dining terrace.
The Views: sea views from terraces and gardens surrounding the house.
Why we like it:for the superb features of the villa, particularly for families with children, and the added-bonus of proximity to the Grand Hotel and its services, including Spa and Michelin-starred restaurant.
