Set in an idyllic location with the magnificent ranging hills of the Val d'Orcia to the south and evergreen Chianti to the north, Villa Olivetto is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse converted into a lovely country home, an intimate retreat surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, built on the shoulder of a hill, so close to some of the most famous sights of Tuscany that within minutes you could be in the famous city of Siena, joining the wonderful evening passeggiata, rubbing shoulders with Sienese locals and delighted visitors all basking in the unbelievable atmosphere of the Via di Città and the city's other main thoroughfares. On your doorstep are Siena's museums and churches as well as the Piazza del Campo, where twice a year the local contrade run for the Palio - an unforgettable place for anaperitivo!
The villa, set on two main floors, has a large living room with dining area and a separate kitchen at the entrance level. The three bedrooms and the TV/gym room are located on the other ground floor (garden floor).
The villa is a lovely example of an idyllic home in Tuscany, restored over a number of years. Its a country home with a cosy living room, superb al fresco terraces and a spectacular pool area. There are plenty of shady corners in which to read a book and escape the sun if you wish and due to its clever position the house enjoys a steady cool breeze even during the hottest Italian summer days.
