The villa itself has been meticulously restored by local craftsmen, updating and modernising its spacious, flowing interiors to create a wonderful blend where traditional Tuscany meets contemporary country living. Aged beams, honey coloured stone walls and deep tones of terracotta meet beautifully designed modern fabrics and furnishings. The airy indoor areas tumble out onto the well conceived gardens, which are, of course, ideal for al fresco dining.
As you step into the house, you will be fascinated by the original vaulted ceilings, the terracotta floors and the spacious living areas that offer enough room for everybody to read a book, cook or just relax admiring the views from one of the many French doors. The hall opens into a cosy TV room with LCD screen and satellite TV. An arched passageway leads to a double living area with fireplace and a large dining room that can easily accommodate up to 12 guests. The large kitchen comes with excellent appliances and facilities to cook yourself, or to take a lesson from one of the local chefs. On this floor, there is also a guest bathroom and a lovely double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and direct access to the gardens.
A large stone staircase leads to the first floor and opens onto a spacious sitting room with fireplace and access to a small balcony, which in turns has steps back down to the garden level. There are also four bedrooms with dressing rooms and en suite bathrooms. Each room has wooden floor and beams ceilings.
