  2. Day 1 - 2 Arrive in Las Vegas

    You will be met on arrival at the airport and driven to your hotel, with a short orientation tour to the city en route. The next couple of days are yours to explore and make the most of this incredible city - buzzing 24 hours a day and offering something for everyone. A real highlight will be one of the amazing Cirque du Soleil shows or you can jump from the Stratosphere Tower, visit the Guggenheim Museum or simply enjoy the hotel's endless array of facilities including swimming pools, health & fitness, golf and the casino. NB: We can also arrange an unforgettable helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon as an added extra.

  3. Day 3 Drive to Zion National Park

    Collect the keys to your hire car downstairs in the lobby and drive for three hours to Zion National Park in Utah. Your guide will be waiting to show you around this landscape of towering pinnacles. Following your tour, drive on to Cliffrose Lodge on the banks of the Virgin River, your comfortable home for the next two nights.

  4. Day 4 Explore Zion

    Cliffrose is ideally located for exploring the park on ranger-led nature walks and hikes and we can book optional guided canyoneering, hiking or riding if you wish. Zion lies in high plateau country, covering an area of around 250 sq miles, and its geology is characterised by immense sheer cliffs and deep alcoves that rarely see the sun. Mormon pioneers named it Little Zion, believing the rocks were created by God. Its rock is deep red and white Navajo sandstone and the fauna includes cottonwood, willow, box elder, cacti and Utah juniper.

  5. Day 5 Drive to Bryce Canyon

    Three enjoyable hours on scenic Highways 12 and 89 will bring you to Bryce Canyon National Park, a place of deep canyons, ancient red rock formations and hoodoos. Your home for the next two nights is at the best property in the area - Stone Canyon Inn - located in Bryce Canyon itself, just outside the Park boundary. This afternoon, enjoy an orientation tour to the Park with a private naturalist-guide.

  6. Day 6 Explore Bryce Canyon

    Amidst the red-rock pinnacles and hoodoos, there are wonderful walking and cycle trails and the park is well signed should you prefer to explore by car. Optional canyoneering and hiking tours are also available.

  7. Day 7 Capitol Reef - Moab

    Enjoy a scenic drive from Bryce Canyon to Moab today, with a stop at Capitol Reef National Park en route. Explore the historic Mormon settlement there and the Native American petroglyphs. You'll arrive at your classic Western ranch accommodation in the late afternoon.

  8. Day 8 Arches National Park

    Explore Arches National Park on your own today. The Park contains the largest number of natural stone arches in the world, and there is excellent signage to guide you throughout. In the afternoon, you could go riding, biking and dirt biking; or alternatively enjoy a Western Movies tour to the site of some of the more than 50 classic Westerns shot here.

  9. Day 9 Sorrel River Ranch

    A full day to relax and enjoy the facilities and local surroundings at Sorrel River Ranch with its riverside pool, spa and tennis.

  10. Day 10 Sorrel River Ranch or White-water Rafting in Canyonlands

    Enjoy another day at leisure at the ranch and possibly a guided riding tour. Alternatively, you might like to do a fabulous day's white water rafting on nearby Westwater Canyon in Canyonlands National Park. This beautiful section of the river is surrounded by red sandstone spires and monuments, and the Black Granite Gorge creates fast and exciting class III and IV rapids that provide an exhilarating rafting experience.

  11. Day 11 - 13 Dunton Hot Springs

    Cross over the border into Colorado today and after a 3½ hour drive you will arrive at Dunton Hot Springs, a luxurious spa resort in the middle of the San Juan Mountains. Dunton occupies a charming old mining settlement and offers world-class spa facilities in a stunning natural setting of mountains and forests. It is a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating place to end your trip; but in addition to excellent natural spa treatments, yoga and fitness facilities, there is also a long list of activities that changes with the seasons.

  12. Day 14 Depart

    Drive 4½ hours to Grand Junction and catch a flight to Denver where you can connect with your onward flight home.
