ALFAJIRI VILLAS

LOCATION

Diani Beach is considered one of the best in Kenya and Alfajiri Villas are located bang in the centre of it meaning you have a beautiful stretch of white sand running for five miles in either direction. A coral reef not only offers great snorkelling opportunities but also forms a sea barrier thus keeping the waters calm and safe for paddling and swimming.

ACCOMMODATION

The three villas can accommodate between eight and ten people each but are often rented by smaller group or even honeymoon couples for the ultimate beach house experience. All are taken on an exclusive-use basis and feature sunny balconies, private terraces and swimming pools.

FOOD & DRINK

Being Italian, Alfajiri’s owners naturally pay great attention to the food that is served here. Dishes are generally Mediterranean in style and feature plenty of fresh seafood including shellfish, yellowfin tuna, dorado and snapper.  This being your home-away-from-home you can request whatever you wish and all food and drink, except certain imported wines and spirits, is included during your stay.

FACILITIES

The team of butlers, nannies and chefs is at your disposal to cater for your needs in the way that works best for you.  A driver is also on hand for local transfers and excursions

In addition, guests have the use of a traditional ngalawa (sailing boat) for trips to the reef, a daily massage, visit to the local community project and local villages and use of a gym and sauna at a nearby property.

Each of the three villas has its own private pool.

OUT & ABOUT

There’s plenty to do around Diani from water-based activities such as kite surfing, deep-sea fishing and diving to day safaris or quad biking in the nearby Shimba Hills. There’s also an 18-hole golf course in the vicinity.

NOTA BENE

• Diani is a public beach so don’t be surprised if you are approached by sellers. However, local people are friendly and you can easily retreat to your garden and private pool to sunbathe in private.
