  2. Day 1 Arrive in Mozambique

Arrive into Johannesburg International Airport and then on to Maputo Airport. From here you will be transferred by fixed-wing plane and 4x4 to White Pearl Resort. The resort is located on a 2km stretch of pristine coastline, close to the border with South Africa. Inland and to the west is the Maputo Elephant Reserve, which is working hard to increase the elephant population following extensive poaching in the area prior to the 1990's. After a warm welcome you'll be whisked off in a golf cart to your private suite. Twenty-one luxurious suites have been equipped to the highest standard and decorated in soft hues to complement the natural setting. Six of the suites are located directly on the beach with their own private pool. The remainder of the suites can be found further up the dunes on stilts and enjoy panoramic views and their own private plunge pools. All suites are further enhanced by a private deck with outdoor shower, king-size beds, satellite TV, WiFi connectivity and air-conditioning.
