Villa Campos is an original stone finca, set in 300 hectares of private land.
A large rambling villa, it comfortably sleeps up to 25 guests, with a 20 metre pool and spacious grounds. It is a short ten minute drive to the popular Cala ‘n Porter beach, the picturesque historical village of Alaior and 25 minutes drive to Mahón, both offering a wide choice of restaurants and shopping.
Built around the old Ihalor hill, from where it takes its name, Alaior was founded by King James II of Mallorca in the year 1304. The grand baroque inspired sandstone church holds a commanding position on top of the hill whilst the village sprawls below. Dark shuttered windows set in white-washed walls peer across narrow winding streets, full of artisan shops, jewellers, cobblers and cheesemakers, the village being home to the famous Queso de Menorca.
Villa Campos is a traditional family finca giving a truly authentic Menorcan rural experience, offering peace and tranquillity. For the adventurous, there are a choice of activities from swimming and cycling, to exploring the estate and the surrounding countryside on foot or horseback.
