Day 1 Arrival in Botswana
On arrival in Maun, connect to your light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta, where you will be staying at Xigera Safari Lodge. The location of the camp is particularly special since it accesses both permanent water channels and floodwater lagoons, as well as a patchwork of islands and riverine forest, so wildlife viewing activities range from boating and mokoro safaris to game drives and bush walks.

Day 2 - 3 Activities in the Okavango Delta
Daily safari activities from your lodge include game drives in custom-built 4x4 vehicles, walking safaris with an expert guide, and gliding through the waters of the Okavango Delta in a traditional dugout canoe. Between your wildlife encounters you could head to the spa for a relaxing treatment. For a special treat, book the Baobab Treehouse for a romantic night under the African night sky.

Day 4 Okavango Delta - Makgadikgadi Pans
Take a spectacular light aircraft transfer south into the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. A complete change of scenery from the lush greenery of the delta, the otherworldly Makgadikgadi Pans are part of the Kalahari Desert and one of the largest salt flats in the world.
Your home for the next three nights is the legendary Jack's Camp.

Day 5 - 6 Makgadikgadi Pans adventures from Jack's Camp
The days ahead are dedicated to full enjoyment of all that Jack's Camp has to offer. Your time can be filled with bush walks, game drives and riding across the plains. This is a fantastic place to spot more unusual species such as brown hyena, oryx, ostrich and wildebeest, as well as meerkat from Jack's pioneering habituation project. Other activities include Bushman interactions, visits to Chapman's Baobab, expert guiding of the unique desert wildlife, and stargazing. You could even explore the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans on horseback, for an entirely different perspective.

Day 7 Makgadikgadi Pans - Johannesburg
Transfer back to Maun by light aircraft and connect to your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, you will be transferred to Four Seasons The Westcliff.

Day 8 Johannesburg - Vilanculos
This morning, take a flight to Vilanculos in Mozambique. You'll then take the short hop by helicopter from the airport to &Beyond Benguerra Island in the stunning Bazaruto Archipelago. Settle into one of just 10 luxurious 'Casinhas' and spend the rest of the day with your feet in the fine golden sand.

Day 9 - 13 Benguerra Island
Enjoy five magical days on Mozambique's Benguerra Island. Take relaxing dips in the sparkling pool or in the inviting Indian Ocean waters, perhaps punctuating your downtime with a soothing treatment in the beachfront spa. Delve into the colourful array of marine life to be found in the waters here - diving and snorkelling are equally rewarding. Other activities on offer include riding through the calm waters, leisurely dhow cruises, castaway beach picnics, and deep-sea fishing.
