His Majesty The King has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that Red Savannah should receive a King’s Award for Enterprise. This represents the United Kingdom’s highest business accolade and on Red Savannah’s case, the award recognises outstanding achievement in the development of international trade.
The award, which is valid for five years, will be presented by the Lord Lieutenant for Gloucestershire, Mr Edward Gillespie OBE, and will be further celebrated with a Royal Reception at Windsor Castle on 12th June 2025.
"Having been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2020 at the start of the global pandemic, being granted the King’s Award in 2025 is a wonderful testament to the Red Savannah team whose tireless energy enabled us to get through an immensely challenging period in 2020/21, before capitalising very rapidly on the post-pandemic recovery. Apart from supercharging growth, we are also delighted to have been able to increase our donations to the Rainforest Trust UK (bringing the total land protected to over 30,000 acres, the equivalent of over 17,000 football pitches), together with additional financial support both for the Gloucestershire Community Foundation and also Cheltenham Open Door (a wonderful charity providing cooked meals and support for the homeless)."

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses in the categories of innovation, sustainable development, international trade and promoting opportunity through social mobility.
