The experience at Ol Lentille goes far beyond a traditional safari. In a breathtaking location that feels blissfully far removed from the modern world, guests are invited to gain a deeper connection with the ancient lands they find themselves in. Set high on a hilltop overlooking a 40,000-acre private conservation area with views of Mount Ololokwe, the sacred mountain of the Samburu people, Ol Lentille is a model for responsible tourism and the perfect base for an off-grid adventure.
Accommodation is ranged over four entirely self-contained villas comprising one to three bedrooms, sleeping two to six adults. Each has its own terrace, living room and dining area as well as dedicated vehicle and staff. The villas cannot be seen from one another so privacy is assured and stepped pathways, some quite steep, lead you around the lodge and between rooms. A small spa with two treatment rooms is tucked away in the rocks while a spacious library with rooftop terrace sits at the top of the resort with a stunning outdoor pool close by. Meals are served in the privacy of your villa with options to have a bush lunch or dinner on the rooftop gallery.
The lodge has worked extremely closely with the local community on a range of projects especially focusing on education and healthcare. The opportunity for genuine interaction with Maasai and Samburu communities during your stay at Ol Lentille is therefore likely to provide memories as indelible as the enchanting landscapes that surround you.
