Day 1 Arrive Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by our Red Savannah representative and chauffeured to Ololo Safari Lodge where your Kenya safari begins.Ololo Lodge is located 45 minutes away from Nairobi's airports and is situated right on the edge of Nairobi National Park. Its secluded location makes for good game viewing, and in particular excellent bird-watching, while back at the lodge you can relax in front of an open fire and enjoy the views across the park from their library.

Day 2 Nairobi - Chyulu Hills, Kenya
Your internal flight today will take you to an unspoilt wilderness which is home to Campi ya Kanzi. Situated in the Chyulu Hills in south east Kenya this will be your home for the next 3 nights.

Day 3 - 4 Chyulu Hills, Kenya
The plains to the southwest of the hills contain a network of large private conservancies and Maasai tribal lands, home to giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest. Predators including lions, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, leopards and servals are also sometimes spotted. Here you will be able to enjoy excellent hiking, slow-paced vehicle safaris, walking safari and horse-back safaris, bush meals and night vehicle safaris. Cultural visits to the local Maasai villages are also possible. Guest accommodation at the camp is in eight large and comfortable tented rooms set around the thatched open-sided lounge and dining areas, which lead out to the camp-fire area.

Day 5 Chyulu Hills - Samburu
Today you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Samburu. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Sasaab for a 3 night stay.

Day 6 - 7 Samburu
Situated close to the Buffalo Springs National Reserves in Northern Kenya, the rich diversity of Sasaab encourages a vast array of animals including lion, leopard and cheetah and the 'Samburu Special Five': the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich. With its 'Morocco meets Africa'" feel each of the nine rooms is over 100m² with an enormous open-air bathroom and private plunge pool. From the veranda, guests can take in the remarkable views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peak of Mount Kenya. Choose to enjoy guided walks, game drives, bird watching, stargazing or a visit to SpaSaab. For a special experience guests can spend a night or two fly-camping under mosquito net tents in the wilderness.

Day 8 Samburu - Masai Mara
This morning you will be flown from Samburu to Richard's Camp which is located within a private conservation area, adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This will be your home for the next 3 nights.

Day 9 - 10 Masai Mara
Richard's Camp offers an intimate tented camp experience, where traditional African hospitality meets understated luxury. Set amongst a grove of enormous African olive trees, the camp overlooks the open plains so characteristic of the Mara and many species of wildlife visit camp regularly. Having lived in the Mara since he was a child, the camp owner's knowledge and experience is incomparable, ensuring your stay is memorable. From here you will explore the Mara, experiencing a wildlife spectacle like no other. Richard's River Camp offers day and night game drives, birding and scenic bush walks, sundowners, bush meals and cultural visits to a local Masai Village nearby. At an additional cost hot air balloon flights are available.

Day 11 Depart
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. You will be met and transferred either for dinner before your international flight or taken direct to the international airport for your flight home.
