Day 1 Nairobi Arrival
Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by our Red Savannah representative and chauffeured to Hemingway's. With just 45 suites, an exquisite south Asian-inspired restaurant, and enticing spa, a night in this boutique hotel is the perfect way to ease into your safari.

Day 2 Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Kalama Airstrip and transfer to Saruni Samburu where you will spend the next three nights. The only lodge in Kalama Conservancy, Saruni Samburu is perched on a giant volcanic rock face offering spectacular views over the semi-arid plains towards Mount Kenya. The conservancy borders Samburu National Reserve, which occupies an area of 200,000 acres.

Day 3 - 4 Samburu National Reserve
At Saruni Samburu you can participate in a wide range of diverse activities appealing to all tastes and all ages. One of the most popular is walking safaris which are tailored to your interests and are set in a breath-taking landscape. Walking with the Samburu warriors out in the African bush is a fantastic experience where you can learn from their local knowledge of the plants and animals, as well as their local traditions. Daily drives around the reserve provide further opportunities to explore this stunning wilderness with experience guides.

Day 5 Samburu National Reserve - Masai Mara
Today you will depart Saruni Samburu for the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Cottar's 1920's Safari Camp where you will spend the next three nights. Cottars is situated in an untouched and exclusive 6,000 acre concession bordering the Serengeti and the Masai Mara and offers some of the finest game viewing in Africa.

Day 6 - 7 Masai Mara
The next two days are spent at Cottar's 1920s Safari Camp where you can enjoy game drives with some of the best guides in Kenya, by 4WD. Although there is a vintage safari vehicle, this is used on for occasional transfers from the Cottar's Airstrip! Expect to see a plethora of animals on your game drives including lions, cheetahs, elephants and, if you are there during August and September, you may witness the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra.

Day 8 Masai Mara - Kenya Coast
Depart the Masai Mara and fly to Diani on the south coast where you will spend the next five nights relaxing on the beach at Kinondo Kwetu. Set on the beautiful Galu Beach, Kinondo Kwetu offers a very comfortable yet relaxed Swahili vibe, with rooms and cottages set right on the beach.

Day 9 - 11 Kenya Coast
Spend the next three days relaxing by the beach. Kinondo Kwetu offers a wealth of non-motorised water sports activities, tennis, horse riding on along the beach, forest walks and bicycling. There are regular yoga and Pilates sessions at the ocean-facing deck and other facilities include a lovely spa and outdoor pool. Alongside this, friendly staff and delicious food (served in a variety of locations) make for the perfect end to a magical honeymoon.
