White Pearl is set in sand dunes looking straight out to sea on a 2km stretch of pristine coastline, close to the border with South Africa. The stylish, glass-fronted rooms, several with direct beach access, are ranged over the hillside among casuarina trees.
Inland and to the west is the Maputo Elephant Reserve, which is working hard to increase the elephant population following extensive poaching in the area prior to the 1990's.
After a warm welcome you'll be whisked off in a golf cart to your private suite. The 21 luxurious suites have been equipped to the highest standard and decorated in soft hues to complement the natural setting. Six of the suites are located directly on the beach with their own private pool. The remainder of the suites can be found further up the dunes on stilts enjoying panoramic views and their own private plunge pools. All suites are further enhanced by a private deck with outdoor shower, king-size beds, satellite TV, Wi-Fi connectivity and air-conditioning.
FOOD & DRINK
Dining is an indulgent experience at the White Pearl Resort and their rustic tapas served in the Beach Bar is not to be missed. The White Pearl Restaurant hosts breakfasts, light lunches and candlelit dinners in a most romantic setting. If you can't pull yourself away from the beach you could always have the treats come to you in the form of a luxury picnic hamper that can be filled with delicious food and drink. This resort also takes its wine collection seriously with over 600 bottles on offer, so there's always a perfect pairing for your meal. The Beach Bar to unwind in relaxed surroundings.
Throughout the day the Pool Deck is a great spot for relaxing on oversized loungers, enjoying open ocean views and contemplating how to spend your coming days.
Gentle activities within the resort include spa treatments, star gazing with the in-house Galactic Guide, witnessing loggerhead and leatherback turtles lay their eggs (between November and February) and breath-taking coastal walks.

The highlight is undoubtedly the resorts 'Ocean Safari' where you'll have the chance to snorkel with bottle-nosed dolphins and spot humpback whales during their annual seasonal migration (from July to November).
Experienced diving instructors can take you to a variety of dive spots to explore the fascinating underwater world. Both beginners and keen divers are catered for and they also offer PADI Resort courses.
