TANZANIAN FAMILY SAFARI & BEACH ADVENTURE

Day 1 Fly to Nyerere National Park

Take a scheduled light aircraft flight from Dar es Salaam to Kiba Airstrip in Nyerere National Park. Your private guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you the short distance to Kiba Point, set on the banks of the Rufiji River and perfect for families or private groups of friends. Accommodation comprises four spacious, airy cottages, made of stone and thatch, which are raised up on platforms above the river line. The rooms are cool and elegant with huge beds and softly draped Mosquito nets. The mess/dining area comes with plump sofas, a large swimming pool and your own bar and library.

Overnight: Kiba Point

Day 2 - 4 Nyerere National Park

Spend your days enjoying private game drives, walks and boat trips in Nyerere National Park. All activities here are exclusive to Kiba Point guests as this is your own private lodge for the duration of your stay. These include early morning and afternoon game drives, nature walks, boating and fishing on the Rufiji River and even fly-camping should you wish.

Day 5 Fly to Zanzibar 

Transfer by scheduled light aircraft to Dar es Salaam and onward to Zanzibar, the exotic island of spices. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Breezes Beach Club. Located on the southeast coast of the island, with stunning landscaped gardens and an immaculate beach, this is a tropical paradise. Accommodation consists of seventy en-suite rooms and suites, all fully air-conditioned and decorated in a cool modern palette. All rooms come equipped with a terrace (or wraparound balcony for the suites) offering spectacular views of the white sandy beach and the inviting Indian Ocean.

Day 6 - 9 Zanzibar 

Enjoy four days exploring coastal Zanzibar. Relax by the resort's outdoor pool or try dhow cruising, fishing or scuba diving. Explore the reef with a snorkel at high tide or in reef shoes at low tide. Nearby, excursions can be arranged to historic Stone Town, Jozani Forest to see the colobus monkeys and to local spice farms on the island.

Day 11 Zanzibar - Dar Es Salaam - Depart 

Transfer by light aircraft to Dar Es Salaam, and on to your flight home.
