Trisara sits on a lush green tropical hillside with stunning views towards the ocean. While days can be spent relaxing on the white beach or by the fabulous infinity pool, there are more active options too. There is a well-equipped watersports centre and an array of daily activities including power walks, sunrise yoga, Muay Thai boxing and tennis. Snorkellers can experience the kaleidoscopic colours of Phuket’s underwater world, or venture further afield by private yacht to the Similan Islands. Round off the day in the Jara Spa, where soothing, signature treatments include a stress-relieving six-handed massage.
The secluded villas and suites are dotted throughout 40 acres of fragrant gardens. Their understated, yet decadent interiors feature travertine marble flooring, golden teak ceilings, Thai artworks and spa-like bathrooms. Each has an expansive terrace with oversized sunbeds, an infinity pool and panoramic views of the shimmering Andaman Sea.
Although Trisara has an excellent kids club, the resort is more suited for couples who want to unwind and relax. However, the resort does have a good variety of two and three bedroom villas which would suit families with older children.
