Day 2 Discover Bangkok
This morning, meet your private guide in the lobby and set off for your fast-paced introduction to some of Bangkok's most impressive highlights. Using a variety of local transport such as skytrains, tuk-tuks and canal boats, your guide will show you the city’s spectacular landmarks, including the Golden Mount at Wat Saket, Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha, and bustling Charoen Krung Street. Return to your hotel for lunch and an afternoon at leisure.
The best way to get under the skin of Bangkok's after-dark street food scene is aboard a tuk-tuk, whizzing through the vibrant streets with an expert guide who knows exactly where the locals eat. Sample a variety of dishes, from the city's best Pad Thai to tender pork satay and spicy papaya salads. Your guide will explain the different cooking techniques and show off the ingredients that make these dishes so delicious. Cap off your culinary adventure with a trip to the colourful Pak Khlong Talat flower market, driving past some of the city's top landmarks along the way including the shimmering stupas of the grand Buddhist temple of Wat Pho.
