A chef to prepare authentic Thai and international cuisine, a private masseuse offering a variety of revitalising treatments and the seamless organisation of your villa manager, ensuring a level of service to near perfection. Although there is plenty to keep you busy on the island of Phuket, one of the greatest ways to spend a day is to explore the coastline by boat. Available to rent is the villa's superb dive boat (complete with compressor) and dive master which is ideal for all levels. The villa also has a Hobie Cat so you can discover the island’s stunning hidden caves and iconic limestone rocks which dramatically extend out of the water.
ACCOMMODATION
Each of the six bedrooms can be configured as either a double or twin bedroom, sleeping 12 guests in total. Three bedroom pavilions have their own bathrooms and two bedrooms share a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a small dressing room attached, which could be ideal for a baby or toddler.
The sitting room radiates elegance and style with plenty of sofas, books, Indonesian statues and impressive artwork and large floor to ceiling doors let the light flood in. Downstairs you’ll find a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room, as well as a cosy and comfy cinema style TV room.
OUTSIDE
Tall French windows lead from the sitting room to a covered terrace, with tables, chairs and places to relax, overlooking the fabulous swimming pool. A traditional Sala houses a sunken dining table, and for evening drinks there is no better place that the ‘drinks platform’ that has been ingeniously carved into the rocks. Similarly, also down in the rocks is a purpose made meditation area. For dinner under the stars there is a covered, al fresco dining pavilion with a large dining table and 275° of glorious sea views.
The views: The viewpoint from Laemson is undoubtedly one of the best on the island, with far reaching views over Kamala Bay and out over the Andaman Sea.
Why we like it: Laemson is the height of rustic elegance. Beautifully designed and a treat for anyone that values fine and modern Asian art. Although ideal for all adult parties, Laemson also happily accommodates children, and owner Eric will be happy to recommend his favourite spot for crabbing.
