Leafy evergreen oak and Mediterranean pine woodland carpet the hillsides of this pretty region of Provence. A land of truffles and tapenade, the landscape is as rich in heritage as it is in gastronomy, with ancient market towns such as Draguignan, Lorgues and Tourtour within easy reach.
La Combe estate is first seen from above, as the winding forest track emerges into open skies. The extensive estate is entirely private and secluded, and comprises a main house, known as a Bastide, and a separate, adjacent cottage. The Bastide features seven en suite bedrooms, as well as principal living areas which open onto the surrounding terraces, cooled in summer with leafy shade. The Cottage has a further two bedrooms, as well as independent kitchen and living space.
From the terrace, sweeping views extend across the estate, taking in the boating lake and surrounding woodland. There are two swimming pools, both heated, one located in front of a fabulous summer house with outdoor kitchen and dining area, the other in a quieter corner of the property, perfect for those looking to relax in peace!
Additional features on site include a flood-lit tennis court, fitness room, a tree house, and myriad pathways for walks across the estate.
The region has many villages and towns to explore, as well as restaurants from casual to gastronomic. The coast at St Tropez is around 30 miles and the spectacular Gorges du Verdon within 1h30mins. Nice International Airport is just over an hour away and a helipad is available on site. There is an EV charging point and Starlink Internet access.
