Château D'audrieu

Château d’Audrieu is noted for its exceptional cuisine, including its fine dining restaurant, Le Séran. Breakfast served on La Terrace with beautiful views of the garden is always an enjoyable way to start the day, and the hotel kitchens are supplied by its own organic gardens. These gardens also produce cider using local apples following the traditional recipe, teas from garden botanicals and honey from the estate hives. A full-service spa by Sothys is another welcome addition to the historic estate, providing a peaceful haven from which to indulge in a soothing treatment, and a heated outdoor swimming pool provides further options for your downtime.

The château is located just a short distance from the Normandy coast and, in particular, the famed D-Day Landing beaches. Explore the region’s historic towns such as Caen, home of William the Conqueror, and marvel at the Bayeux tapestry, a perfect visual representation of Anglo-French history from the 11th century. For relaxed explorations of the château’s immediate surroundings, hotel guests can also take advantage of the estate’s complimentary bicycles, perhaps rounded off with a gourmet picnic in the exquisite gardens.
