Avlaki is considered one of the best beaches in northern Corfu. A long, scenic stretch of beach is popular with children, teenagers and parents alike, drawn to the crystal-clear waters, the sailing school with windsurfing and paddle boarding, and a terrific restaurant or two. Within walking distance of Avlaki is Villa Eremitis, a simple but spacious three-bedroom villa, with a great pool, sea views and outdoor terraces with shade.
The villa is simple but comfortable and nicely presented, although the big draw here is the superb location. The raised position benefits from cool sea breezes, is just fifteen minutes’ walk to the beach (downhill on the way there – longer on the way back!) and has spectacular views to the sea and mainland on the horizon.
