The Westbury

The feel within the hotel is one of contemporary luxury, with light-filled open spaces, gleaming chandeliers, works of art from Irish artists adorning the lounge areas and an Art Deco sophistication characterising the food and drink venues. These include the uplifting, greenery-filled Wilde restaurant which offers fresh, seasonal Irish specialities and international favourites, the chic Balfes Bar & Brasserie offering high-class brunches and bistro-style fare, and the lively Sidecar bar which exudes Gatsby era elegance. Afternoon tea at The Westbury is also a Dublin institution; served in The Gallery overlooking Grafton Street, a fine range of homemade pastries, sandwiches and scones are accompanied by a selection of aromatic teas – plus something from the Champagne trolley, if you are feeling so inclined.

At the end of a lively day absorbing the inimitable atmosphere of Dublin, retire to your spacious room or suite, luxuriously furnished in a soothing palette but enlivened by measured splashes of colour in the soft furnishings. Duck down duvets and marble bathrooms with underfloor heating offer supreme comfort in all rooms, while a range of suites offer a separate living area and expanded bathrooms with roll-top tubs. For something extra-special, upgrade to the Terrace Suite to benefit from some outdoor space, or to the Presidential suite for a private steam room, sauna and VIP service from your dedicated butler.
