Known as an artistic masterpiece and thus a jewel of Italian lifestyle, culture and history, Villa Sola Cabiati is the sister property to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The villa offers the privacy, comfort and elegance of an aristocratic residence, but with the benefit of having access to all the facilities of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, which can be reached via private water transfers.
Formerly a private house since 1700, in 2017 the villa opened its doors to discerning guests looking to experience its uniqueness, beauty and art collection. The villa was built in the age of neoclassic style and influenced by the Milan aristocratic, who were used to spend their summers on Lake Como. In the 19th century, Gian Galeazzo Serbelloni, whose family owned the property, redesigned the villa to its actual appearance with its main building flanked by two side wings, the large staircase, the marble balconies, the blue shutters and the lush gardens, divided into four elegant parterres. The gardens are nicely arranged with colourful flowers, ferns and trees sloping up towards the mountain.
