Day 3 Mount Lagazuoi & First World War remnants
Today's mountain adventure takes you to Mount Lagazuoi, a spectacular Dolomites peak which played a strategic role during the First World War. Together with your guide you will choose to ascend either by cable car or along a gentle historic trail once used by wartime soldiers. At the summit of Lagazuoi, sweeping views reveal a panorama of jagged spires, deep valleys, and distant peaks. Here you will also find the fascinating Open-Air Museum of the Great War, where restored tunnels, trenches, and mountain shelters give a glimpse of what life was like for the Italian and Austro-Hungarian forces positioned here during the Great War.
