Day 2 Dolomites hike & helicopter flight
After an energising breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by your private English-speaking mountain guide to begin your immersion into the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites. The iconic peak of Mount Seceda is in your sights this morning, and your expert guide will design a hiking route specifically around your preferred levels of exertion. As you ascend Seceda, you will be rewarded with panoramic views over the Odle Peaks and out to the Sella massif, Sassolungo, and the Alpe di Siusi beyond. Nearby lies the Abbey of Novacella, one of the region's most significant historic monuments. Day 7 Plose Massif hiking & rural mixology
This morning you will set out with a private guide on a scenic walk that is once again tailored to your preferences. Plose occupies a panoramic ridge on the northwestern fringe of the Dolomites, rather than within their limestone heart. This position delivers extraordinary views out towards the Dolomites giants - most notably the Odle Peaks, whose sharp spires dominate the horizon to the east. The contrast between the gentle pastures of the Plose and the jagged rock formations beyond is one of its most striking features.
After a lunch stop at a scenic location, your afternoon exploration takes you to a mountain farmhouse home to a remarkable, family-run cottage industry. Here, Giada, Laurenz, and their daughters will introduce to their world of alpine herbs and flowers, which are harvested by hand and transformed into an exquisite collection of artisanal products. Your time at the farm finishes in exceptional style as one of Italy's top mixologists showcases his skills in a cocktail workshop with a difference, incorporating herbs and ingredients straight from the farm.
