The Lygon Arms is a 16th-century Cotswolds coaching inn on the high street in Broadway, with 86 bedrooms split across the historic main inn, the courtyard and adjoining cottages. The feeling is of a country estate with antique furniture, wooden beams, original paintings and armchairs in each corner for curling up with a warming drink. The Courtyard Deluxe rooms with their terraces are perfect for those travelling with their four-legged friends, and families will particularly enjoy the Junior Suites with their double sofa beds. British touches abound with Noble Isle products, mattresses handmade in Devon and produce from the nearby Cotswold fields.
The Lygon Lounges serves relaxed Mediterranean cuisine, and the Lygon Bar & Grill is where you can end the day with a myriad of Cotswold produce. Afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the Terrace restaurant or outside in the sunshine of the courtyard. Relax in the spa and its elegant 13-metre indoor swimming pool with retractable roof to let that all important sunshine in. There is also a gym, sauna and steam room to accompany spa treatments to sooth aching limbs after a day’s exploration of the Cotswolds. Dogs are most welcome at the hotel.
