A well paced itinerary taking in some of Mexico's best known sites, with plenty to keep children occupied. Solve the scavenger hunt clues at Uxmal to reveal the secrets of the Mayas before learning the relatively modern craft of chocolate making. You'll traverse a saltwater lagoon at Celestun, a haven for a sea of pink flamingoes, and watch traditional hammock weaving at Tixkokob. Explore Chichen Itza before the crowds arrive and continue to a cenote (sinkhole) where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and picnic lunch. Bikes are your mode of transport at the ancient city of Coba, and you'll be able to climb the steep terraces of the Nohoch Mul Pyramid to enjoy the views from the top. Join a private catamaran for a morning sailing around the Bay of Cancun and to Isla Mujeres. At Xel-Ha, you can watch colourful fish in the clear waters, explore caves and go zip-lining, and on your final day, simply relax on the beach at Playa del Carmen.
