Our villas in the Val d’Orcia celebrate the region’s natural beauty, with views extending over rolling plains dotted with ancient abbeys and fortified villages. Etruscans established fine thermal baths here and pilgrims later arrived, following the Via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome. Today, the region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for its beautiful switchback lanes, world-class vineyards and thermal springs.

Nature dealt the Val d’Orcia a particularly generous hand ensuring the gastronome’s delight. Truffles, chestnuts, mushrooms and grapevines grow in abundance and locally-reared sheep produce the pecorino cheese for which the region is renowned.
